The Zoological Museum of DNU named after O. Gonchar

Can you imagine that in the same room is about one thousand species of animals and birds. Hard to fit this image in your head. But there is a place in Dnepropetrovsk - Zoological Museum is named after O. Gonchar DNU.
The museum was founded in 1901 by Academician Dmitri Ivanovich Yavornytsky as part of the Local History Museum, and in 1924 was transferred to the Dnipropetrovsk National University.
Many of the exhibits will seem exotic, since they do not occur on the territory of Ukraine. There are also instances of familiar Ukrainians. Some of the exhibits are listed as endangered in Europe, Ukraine and Dnepropetrovsk region.
