Jordan Lake
In the midst of a construction boom is hard to believe that in the center of the Ukrainian capital has remained a picturesque corner of nature. Near the metro station "Obolon" stretched beautiful Jordan Lake, affecting its serenity.
The unusual name of the lake is associated with an ancient legend. According to legend, one of Kiev pilgrim dropped into the stream of Palestine its silver bucket. But after returning home, found him at the bottom of the native lake. Since then, people began to believe that Kiev is associated with Jerusalem, an underground river, and the lake became a place of pilgrimage.
