Sculpture "Jesus Christ and the Woman of Samaria"

A well-known Bible story "Jesus Christ and the Woman of Samaria" inspired the eponymous sculpture in Truskavets. Installed it near one of the city`s main churches - St. Nicholas Church .

Sculpture on biblical themes was the decoration of the area, located in front of the temple. Immediately established a monument to Metropolitan Sheptytsky and a monument dedicated to the fighters for freedom of Ukraine. The temple itself, built back in the mid-19th century, belongs to the Greek Catholic community.

By the way, in Truskavets plan to install another sculpture of Jesus Christ, whose height is 12 meters. It is going to make a replica of the famous Brazilian sculpture of Christ.

Truskavets is the regional center - the city - at a distance of one hundred kilometers.
