Iskul-Hildenbrand House
Seeing the neo-Gothic three-storey building, so want pricked - it looks like an incredibly neat gingerbread house! Front facade is decorated with hanging columns, semi-circular and lancet windows, pinnacles.
This fabulous mansion appeared in 1901 during the life of Baron Ikskyul-Gildenbranda. There were six huge apartment, consisting of five or even seven rooms! Part rented out. Arranged the laundry in the basement, and the stables and built for coaches - at the courtyard. For heating were fitted terracotta fireplaces.
Unfortunately, over the past century building was severely damaged. During World almost completely burnt out its interior. In Soviet times, the authorities took up the reconstruction, but it suffered the original layout and facade of the mansion. As a result of it did the usual "communal".
