Dominican Church of St. Nicholas, Kamenetz-Podolsk
Church of St. Nicholas, or his more famous name Dominican church, is one of the oldest temples in the Ukraine. It is situated in the center of Kamenetz-Podolsk at the highest point. The first mention of the church date back to the 14th century. Then it was built of wood and had nothing to do with the architecture monument that survived until today. In the early 15th century building completely burned. It was only in the 16th century Potocki family managed to rebuild and give it the look that it has now.
The uniqueness of the temple lies in the fact that he has collected a multitude of styles that brought the former owners. That only is created by the Turks Muslim pulpit.
Since the late 20th century to the present day temple is under the guardianship of Pauline Fathers.
