Church of St. Anne, Skalat
In the small town of Skalat is the church of St. Anne. For all the time in this area has been erected several Catholic churches, each of which suffered a sad fate.
The first building of the temple dates back to 1643. In 1702 it was destroyed by war. The new building of the temple came after a year. The third temple was destroyed in a fire in 1898. In the 50s of the 20th century building of the church, for unknown reasons, was blown up, and a new building in its place began to build only in 1995. The final restoration of the church and lighting ceremony was held in 2002.
Church of St. Anne was built in the Gothic Revival style evidenced by the completion of the temple capstan and pointed windows. The church has two towers. The building of the temple is located near the castle Skalatskogo in a very picturesque area on the banks of the river rot.
