Church of St. Joseph

The first written mention of the Polupanovke relate to 1580. The main shrine of the village can be seen even at the entrance to the village - a church of St. Joseph.

Construction of the temple was completed in 1894. We put the church on the top of the Holy Mountain , close to Orthodox chapel   Holy Spirit , which flows near the source of grace. There is a legend that made its way through the stone source, flooding Panskoe field. Ban ordered to lay the source of the stones, and after it is done, he suddenly went blind. Then it was ordered to release the source. After washing with water liberated from the source to the Pan his sight. According to another legend, almost two centuries ago, there was the Mother of God. That is why the mountain is called holy and attracts pilgrims many different world religions.

In Soviet times, the church was closed, and with the acquisition of Ukraine`s independence and the temple was rebuilt several service it resumed.   Since 2004, the church called the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Holy Scapular. In October 2010, was opened and consecrated "the Cross Road", comprising 14 stations with sculptures.
