The church Baykivtsi
Just 5 kilometers from Ternopil is a small but magnificent church. It is not known in honor of the saint erected a temple at the intersection of two roads in the village Baykovtsy .
In the early 20th century in Baykovtsah built a wooden church, but in 1936 it was destroyed, and in its place erected a stone church. Money for its construction were given two well-off family and Fredberg Nesilovskih. A year later, the construction of the church was completed and consecrated.
The shape of the base of the temple resembles a cross, and the church was built in the Art Nouveau style. The facade is asymmetrical, located at the right corner a slender tower with a tent roof. The upper tier of the tower bell tower occupies. The main entrance to the church is decorated with an arched portico with columns.
The church is an architectural monument. The sights of the village, in addition to the church, can be attributed to it being in the church of Agia Paraskevi.
