Subotivskyi Historical Museum

Subbotovskaya Historical Museum is located in the village on Saturday Cherkasy region. The museum was founded in 1960. It is considered part of the National Historical and Cultural Reserve "Chigirin" .

In the village itself on Saturday was the family estate of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, custom, which was built here Elias Church in Baroque style. It further serves as a museum and a generic family crypt Khmelnitsky. Legend has it that here was buried the great hetman.

The museum has a lot of interesting historical facts   as a village, and most of Cherkasy region. It contains a great spirit of Bohdan Khmelnytsky. The museum holds a   multiply exhibits and relics, interesting collection of weapons, apparel people of those times. And also presents rare photographs and documents of the time.
