House Vice Admiral Popandopulo

In Nikolaev kept a lot of pre-revolutionary buildings. They give the city a unique appearance.

One of these buildings - the house of Vice-Admiral Popandopulo. Ivan G. Papadopoulos was born in Nikolaev, 20 April 1823. At age 14, he began his career sailor. In all the years of service, he showed himself a brave and wise professional. The royal family is very trusted him. For his services to the Fatherland has been awarded many honorary awards.

Opposite the Admiral`s house still stands his house. This one-storey building is now in ruins. From past glory were only fragments. The once bright colors facade dark with time. The building is shrouded in mystery. It seems that behind closed doors miracles happen. Perhaps the house of Vice-Admiral Popandopulo remains the most enigmatic structure Nikolaev.
