Historical Museum, Bolekhiv
In the city center Bolekhiv a historical museum, it was founded November 28, 1967. The idea of its creation belongs to the famous ethnographer and enthusiast Roman Skvoriyu.
The beginning of work aimed at collecting information for the opening of the museum, was the round date of the death of Ukrainian writer Natalia Kobrin. In Bolekhov she lived for over 30 years. The museum dedicated to her work several sections of the museum`s collection.
In 1970, the city`s historical museum was given the status of National. In 1997, on the facade of library in which R. Skvory worked for more than a year, we have installed a plaque. The event was timed to the 70th anniversary of the museum`s founder and the 30th anniversary of the establishment.

Today the museum exposition includes a lot of truly rare exhibits. Among them you can see a 17th century manuscript, photographic material, dedicated to the sculptor M. Chereshnevskomu and Metropolitan A. Sheptytsky, notes, handwritten T. Bobrinsky.
The museum collection is a 6 rooms of the building. They are divided into themes: the historical development of the city, urban industry, culture, science, the revival of the national identity of the region. The museum displays objects of everyday life, old kitchen utensils, costumes, clothing and shoes, souvenirs, furniture.
