Senyavin House, Kherson
At the crossroads of the Komsomol and Mikhailovich is an old mansion, known as the home of Vice Admiral Senyavin, who was captain of the port of Kherson since 1800. The owner lived in the city only 3 years old, and mansion in Russian classical style pleasing to the eye today. Build a house in the late 18th century, but the exact date is unknown and the first owner.
The mansion is one of the oldest stone buildings in the city . It is decorated with a spherical dome and portico, supported by a colonnade. The house is surrounded by a high stone fence with lattice.
With the advent of the 20th century building housing moves from one department to another. Today plaque that house is a monument of architecture and history disrupted, iron lining of the dome was destroyed. Unfortunately, the house comes into disrepair.
