Vvedenska Church, Bukovets

Vvedenska Church, Bukovets

Vvedenskaya church is located in the village of Bukovec Transcarpathian region.   The official name of the church - Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin.   It is located in the central part of the village, the most conspicuous and beautiful place. The wooden church was built in 1808, as evidenced by the inscription carved on the frame of the front door.

Decided to build a new church because of the small tonnage of two old churches that took the local parishioners. Vvedenskaya church in its interior and exterior design is very similar to the cathedral, located in the village of Izki that close. Its architectural style is proudly called "Mizhgirya baroque".

The church consists of three log cabins, has a fairly high shingled roof and end at the original tower. Inside the church managed to save quite a large number of samples of handmade, made by local craftsmen. You`re also a few icons from dismantled temples.   The bell tower of the church has two tiers, made in the form of a square.   The bell in the temple stands out for its large size and unique copper luster.
