Nativity of the Virgin, Kryvorivnya

The village Kryvorivnya is the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin. It was founded in 1719. Re temple was built in 1818.
Church built of wood and has a cruciform plan. The structure of the temple includes a short lateral branches and elongated Babinets. The central dome of the temple tent covers the head on a low octagon, which towers above the roofs of the church branches.
To the east of the domed temple adjoins an additional room. The inner walls of the church are painted in tempera. At the initiative of the church roof of the church, as in the old days, it was possible to cover the shingles.
The building of the church with all its buildings and additional facilities looks very compact and organically. On the part of the complex resembles a pyramid. In the south-east side of the temple is a small old church tower. The church is on a hill, so it is clearly visible even from a distance.
Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Kryvorivnya is one of the most famous works of Hutsul folk architecture school. The temple is in normal operation and is always open to his parishioners.
