Janusz oven, Mezhirich
Janusz oven - it is the only structure that survived from the once famous for its wealth and impeccable taste palace of Prince Janusz Ostrog, who lived in Mezhyrich under Ostroh . The palace was almost completely destroyed during the war and never rebuilt. In the early 18th century by the prince`s residence with the protection of only two fireplaces, one of which still exists today. It was built in the form of a huge furnace chimney with large arched openings, built in the shape of a pyramid with a high roof and chimney, decorated in the style of the Renaissance. Fire it was bred in the center, most likely side passages in the winter of the year closed.
