Trinity Church, Horynhrad

Trinity Church is located in the village of Rivne region Goryngrad first. The temple is preserved in excellent condition, it is incumbent and his door is always open for the parishioners. History of Trinity Church

Trinity Church in Goryngrade was founded in the 1812-1816 year, the exact date of construction of the temple has not survived. Some historians argue that in 1816 the church was reconstructed or it has been subjected to major overhaul.

The founder of the temple was Prince Gregory czetwertyński family. He was the Ukrainian government and religious leaders, the bishop of Constantinople Patriarchate.

Church of the Holy Trinity was constructed at the expense of the prince and the donations of parishioners. The temple has a lot of space, and can fit a large number of people. It is equipped with three altars: the Holy Trinity, which is considered the main, on the south side, created in the name of St. Nicholas, and the north, which is dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin.

It is known that the temple since its inception has always been active and not closed even in times of war and with the advent of Soviet power.

At the bottom, near the hill where the church is, there is a holy spring, the locals believe that the water from it is able to heal many ailments and diseases believers.

How to get there

Goryngrad village located 20 km east of Rovno , 5 km north of the international road M-06 (E-40) Kyiv-Chop. Several times a day with a bus station exactly in the direction of the village shuttle bus departs.
