Square Magdeburg rights

Square Magdeburg Rights in Rivne in Soviet times was named saboteur, spy, agent of the NKVD Nikolai Kuznetsov. In 1961, the square was a monument Kuznetsov.

Already in 1993 to mark the 500th anniversary of obtaining Equal Rights of Magdeburg city council organized an international scientific conference "Actual problems of cities and municipal government: History and Modernity". Then the area was wearing modern name. This event was released a commemorative medal and a souvenir key.

A year removed the monument on the square Kuznetsov, and in its place a monument to the fighters for freedom of Ukraine.

Square Magdeburg law is outside the Cathedral, 12, between the streets Flower-Osnovyanenko and Peter Poltava. Located near Recreation Shevchenko and St. Basil`s Cathedral . Nearby is a public transport "Co-operative College."
