Odessa factory of sparkling wines
Odessa factory of sparkling wines was founded legendary French businessman Ludwig Heinrich Roederer together with Russian patrons in March 1896 year. From that moment began a full-scale construction of the plant of four floors (basement, two of which are intended for the storage of barrels of production). Construction took only 1.5 years and in 1904 the brand of wine "semi-dry", made at the Odessa plant won first place at the World Exhibition in Paris.
With each decade the plant`s products received more awards, medals and love of the consumer. To create quality wines was invited expert from Champagne and imported modern equipment (self grapes and the entire inventory to the bottles delivered sea from France).
In the Soviet period, the factory did not stop their activities, being one of the leaders in the world of sparkling wines. Nowadays Odessa plant is pride of the national manufacturer, manufacturing and exporting more 15 million bottles around the world (Switzerland, Germany, Israel, Georgia).
