After the unfortunate accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, an array Belichi in Kiev was built up and populated by immigrants from the Chernobyl zone. The refugees were eager to perpetuate the memory of the liquidators and appealed to the public administration. For example, in 1994 there appeared a monument «I dead, i zhivim, i nenarodzhenim." Every year on the day of the accident prayers are held here. In the same year there was consecrated place for the construction of the chapel. In 2000 it was built. The temple is open from 7:00 to 20:00. Worship in the temple is held on Friday and Saturday. Liturgy is held weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays.
