Vvedenskaya church bell tower, Romney
Many tourists are familiar with the picturesque St. Basil`s Cathedral in the city Ohtyrka Sumy region. In the ensemble of the cathedral there is a small Vvedenskaya church bell tower. It is not in the cathedral, and not far from the main entrance. The building of the bell tower combines lightness and monumental lines. This visual effect is achieved due to the circular shape and a decrease from the bottom up all three tiers of the church.
Construction of the church lasted 10 years and was completed in 1784. Is the chief architect P. Yaroslavsky. Late Baroque style is noticeable in all the architectural and decorative elements of the building. The lower tier is equipped with a small portico with columns. Also, the column frame and upper tiers, visually as if directing the church in heaven. The room is a small church, but has a lovely decorative elements. On the bell tower are striking clock and a huge bell. The top of the church is crowned restore the original sculpture.
