Church of the Archangel Michael, Romney

On the outskirts of Akhtyrka   is the church of the Archangel Michael, which was built back in 1884.   The temple belongs to the troop type churches, as evidenced by the architectural features of the building and its design.

Masonry outer part of the building of red brick and decor   Byzantine and Russian styles   best approximate the temple to the construction of the first half of the 20th century. In those early years of the church in this style were built mostly on the Right-Bank Ukraine.
