The tract Boromlya
Boromlya Tract is located in the northern part of Konotop Sumy region. Nature Conservation Area of national importance takes a small area of 55 hectares. The tract is a great value in the field of animal and plant life. The protected area is part of the Konotop forestry since 1975.
Reserved places are located on the river and the Diet during floods becomes a small island. It includes 6 small lakes and forest. On the banks grow shrubs and sedges. The flora is represented by a variety of tree species: perennial maples, lindens and oaks. Some of them have a unique grasp of the trunk diameter of up to 5 meters. Fauna is represented by colonies of gray herons, gray hares, badgers, martens, foxes. Sometimes you can find elk.
