Assumption (Podolsk) Church in Zhitomir

The history of the sanctuary
There is evidence that a temple stood on this place long ago. 1700 and considered the year of birth of the Assumption Church in Zhitomir, because then built the first wooden church. Began construction in 1861, erecting a beautiful stone bell tower and refectory.
