Park Elite Zarechnoe

Park "Elite" is located on the edge of the village of Zarechnoye in the Zaporozhye region. It is located near the river Yushanly. The park covers a large area, and can now be seen the remains of the former buildings and premises.

The history of the park "Elite"

Park "Elite" was created in 1880. It was founded by Henry Reimer, who owned these lands in those days. The park covers an area of ​​8 hectares. Later he became the new owner of the Baron Heinrich Klassen, it was he greatly expanded the park in the late 19th and early 20th century. The park was very beautiful and unusual, some seeds of trees and shrubs were imported from abroad. In it there were more than 70 of their species. Here you can find chestnuts, limes, see the oak alley and birch grove. On the banks of the pond has grown alder. There was undeveloped boat station, which kept the boat owners of the estate. Then you could see the family cemetery Baron class. Also at the park was a garden with fruit.

Graf has created for himself a large estate in the form of a square castle near him were auxiliary buildings: stables, a pigsty, a barn, a cowshed and others. In front of the Baron was a school, and was on the old house of the former owner of the land. Interestingly, the middle of the courtyard on the estate was broken well with artesian water. Opposite the house of Baron housed hostel where the workers lived, for their kitchen and gardens.

In 1980, the park "Elite" declared a monument of landscape art, and it became part of the reserve fund of Ukraine.

From Zaporizhia Zarechny can be reached on your own car, and shuttle buses. The distance to the park is about 120 km.
