Ozarinetskaya fortress
The village Ozaryntsi Mogilev-Podolsky district are the ruins of the fortress. Strengthening was erected in 1657 to protect the skirts of the constant attacks of the Tatars.
Builders Ozarinetskoy fortress were Cossacks led by Colonel A. Gogol, whose descendants became known to the world writer Nikolai Gogol. In 1674, the son of the commander of the Mogilev Prokop Gogol was the village as a gift from the King of Poland.
In 1690 the Turks occupied the strengthening and destroyed the fortress. However, after 9 years the Turks were driven out of the skirts, and the fortress - restored.
Legend has it that the tunnels could be deduced from the fort to the square, passing under the river bed. After some time, the defensive function of the fortress have been abolished, the fort gradually understood. The next owners of the building was adjusted by turning the once mighty fortress in the granary.
Today, travelers can explore the well-preserved part of the eastern wall, and one tier dungeon tower.

In Ozaryntsi there are several churches that are worth visiting. The Roman Catholic Church Elizabeth founded in the mid-19th century in the classical style. Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary attracts five domes, and the Holy Assumption Church will appreciate an interesting history.
