I should say that the Jesuit monastery played an important role not only as a key defense system, but also cultural and educational center.

Today from defensive fortresses actually nothing left. But the former convent turned into a local history museum , where you can explore the fascinating history of the city. Ancient architectural ensemble can be admired, leaving the main street Vinnitsa - Cathedral.
