Island Dzendzik, Berdyansk
Dzendzik Island is located in the town of Berdyansk Zaporizhia region. Once it was a peninsula, but now the area has become an island due to various natural processes. It begins with the island Dzendzik Distant Berdyansk spit. Part of its territory is declared a conservation area and protected by law.
The history of the island Dzendzik
Berdyansk spit itself is already a unique creation of nature. It stretches over 20 km and cuts through the water like a sea of Azov.
