Reserve Ostrovsky, Ostrovsky
Ostrovsky Reserve is located in the Rivne region near the village district Zarechensky Ostrovsky. This hydrological preserve over 2,100 hectares. It combines three large lakes.
The location is quite beautiful and untouched by man. It grows a lot of species of plants, some of which are listed as endangered.
Ostrovsky hydrological reserve was founded in 1980. The purpose of its creation was the preservation of the complex of the three lakes - Horomnogo (40 hectares), Big (96 ha) and the average (12 ha), and Lakeshire and woodland.
Flora sanctuary
The reserve can be found centenary pines. Also, there are growing oak trees older than 130 years. forest height can reach 26 meters. Lakes that are in the reserve, surrounded by alder swamps, covered with grass and ferns.
In Ostrovsky reserve can meet many kinds of rare plants. This flat moss Seyler, moneses, ezhigolovnik small, sedge strunnokorennaya, astragalus sandy, Lapland willow and others.
The lists are listed rare plants such as Platanthera bifolia, moss-year, and Drosera intermedia. Even here you can see 3 types of pemphigus, which together with the sundew create a different set of carnivorous plants.
How to get there
Ostrovsky Reserve is located in the village of Rivne region Ostrovsky. From the city of Rivne drive can be on the road P14, P05, P76 or E85, M19. A distance of about 250 km, depending on the selected route.
