House Isakovich

House Isakovich - outstanding sights of the ancient city, during the years of its existence, has replaced a hundred owners. First of all, this house has a unique location - it stands on Deribasovskaya Street, in the city center, and is the point of intersection of three busiest areas. This situation has attracted the first owner - Felix Deribas, brother of the famous city planner, who lived here with his family, giving the house a notable façade and comfortable interior. The two-story building with classic architecture gradually became "urban heart." Here at different times were the chemist`s shop, the wine shop, the chocolate shop, which is directly produced in the basement of the house, as well as the first in the Odessa theater with a capacity of 339 people at a time.

The present name was given after the most extensive renovation in 1906, the influential urban landowners. In Soviet times, the house was given to the cinema, which until 2008 operated in the usual way. Today, there is a catering business with domestic room and outdoor area.
