Odessa Museum of Military History

Military-Historical Museum of Southern Operational Command was established in 1965 in Odessa . There was a unique collection of the history of the Army of the case from the 19th century to the last years of World War II. During the Great Patriotic War - the most extensive exhibition of hundreds of archival documents, authentic photos, books, and household implements. In the 80 years the museum was closed for extensive repairs and was then substantially modified its main concept and range of exhibits. Now it`s ever-growing exhibition in 13 halls have already been identified with a focus on the development of Ukrainian military history with documentary and visual evidence of the role of the people`s army in the battle of Odessa.

The most interesting place in the museum recognized exhibition in the open air. Here assembled a set of overall military equipment, which can be found in the details.
