Moving the monument Potemkintsam
In 2006, the local city council, it was decided to move the monument to Catherine in the customs area. The purpose of the relocation was to restore the monument to the founders of Odessa on the site Potemkintsev. Many non-governmental organizations were against reinstalling the monument, as in his place would recreate the monument to Catherine II. But the summer of 2007 the monument was dismantled yet.
