Kyiv - the city of legends

Arrival in Kyiv, meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.

See this powerful and glorious city in all its beauty: Podil, Pechersk, Lypky, the picturesque banks of the Dnipro river, and the Maidan Nezalezhnosti. There’s nothing like Kyiv's panorama, with its modern skyscrapers and its golden-domed churches. Next, we descend to Khreshchatyk with its chestnuts and fountains, the heart of Kyiv and probably of all of Ukraine. 

Transfer to lunch. 

We continue our acquaintance with Kyiv on the walking tour "ancient Kyiv and Podil". This is the most popular walking route in Kyiv. On his way most of the main sights of the city are located. You will learn the most interesting of its more than 1500-year history.  

Kyiv, from time immemorial a powerful and invincible city, invites you to get acquainted closer: Starokyivska mountain and the foundations of the church of the tithes, the place "where the land came from," and, of course, on Andriivskyy descent, you will see the Mikhail Bulgakov museum, the famous one street museum and beautiful St. Andrew’s church.  

We go down to Podil, the lower city is a living history of Kyiv, its legend, mix of old and modern. It is also a district of famous fairs and holidays.  

The mecca of the Ukrainian intellectuals is the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy – oldest university, and many other monuments, that preserve the spirit of antiquity.
