Dendrological Park "Veseli Bokovenky"

One of the most beautiful parks in Ukraine is located in Kirovograd region. 109 hectares of steppe stretches arboretum "Merry Bokovenki." It was founded in 1893 by a lover and connoisseur of park affairs Nikolai Davydov. This place is lovely and romantic. Guides say that the creation of this natural wonder Nicholas inspired undivided love for neighbor Anna.

On the territory of the park grows 963 species of shrubs and trees. Of this diversity can be seen brick, vinegar, tulip, lignum vitae, bark which sinks in water, centennial oak, plants, imported from South America, an incredibly beautiful collection of lilacs and more. In the park there is a river Bokovenki and three lakes. This is a great place for to enjoy nature, escape from the city, take a walk or a bike, swim, have a picnic. In small houses can stay overnight in the park there are special places for bonfires, comfortable tables for dinner under the stars.

Kirovograd Region is rich in interesting places. Nature lovers should definitely visit the Black Forest and Salt Lake . Travelling leave only pleasant and vivid memories.
