Transfiguration Church, Manevichi
The Roman Catholic Church of the Transfiguration in the village Manevichi was built in 1933-1937 years at the expense of the parishioners. Previously served as their spiritual needs of a wooden chapel near the station. On the territory of the church are burial Fundator this community - Polish and Austro-Hungarian officers who died in 1920.
Construction of a new church priest led B. Jastrzębska. But not for long served as a church believers: in 1943 the church was closed by the decision of the Soviet authorities. And in his room arranged storage of mineral salts.
Already in the period of independent Ukraine in 1992, Church of the Transfiguration was returned to the Catholic community of the village Manevichi. Today continues the restoration of the temple, and within its walls still stands salt left over from Soviet times.
