Ancient Aratta-Ukraine Museum

Ancient Aratta-Ukraine Museum

Archaeological excavations carried out here since the mid 19th century, and their numbers have long passed for a few hundred. Most of the priceless artifacts are found in all natural history museums in the country, but some of them were purchased by private collectors. One of these collectors was A. Polishchuk, who founded the picturesque museum complex "Ancient Aratta - Ukraine".

Ancient Aratta - is supposedly the period in Tripoli culture or the name of the city which is described by historians as a trading center in the 3rd millennium BC. Ukrainian Aratta is a special direction in the culture of the ancient peoples of Tripoli.

In the center of the courtyard is the museum itself - a three-story building with an interesting painted facade. On the second floor - the exposure to household items Trypillians, on the ground - an art exhibition of items and inventory Ukrainians 19th century.
