Lopukhin Palace
Lopukhins Palace is located on an island in the river Ros that Korsun . The name has stuck behind the palace after the last owners. Complex was built as a summer residence of Prince Stanislaw Poniatowski in the 18th century. The palace grounds were the remains of the Polish fortress of Prince Vishnevetzkogo.
Initially, the architecture of the palace in neo-Gothic style was engaged in J. Munz, and continued his work J. Lindsay. After changing owners palace has evolved and acquired new features in the style of Russian Romanticism, while retaining something of the old furniture. Palace and park ensemble is unique, it consists of the palace, a landscaped park, exit gates and many buildings. Especially charming palace looks in spring, when the lilacs bloom.
