Holy Cross Church, Kamenetz-Podolsk

Holy Cross Church city Kamenetz-Podolsk is located near the beautiful Kamenetz-Podolsk fortress , in the southwestern part of the city.

Temple that we see today was built in the 17th century on the banks of the river Smotrych. Old wooden structure is one of the most striking works of Podolsk School of Wooden Architecture. For a long time the church was the only Orthodox church in the city. Has survived and bell tower, built in 1863.

Converted Kamenetz-Podolsk Holy Cross Church has an extraordinary atmosphere. Visitors can not help feeling of sanctity and antiquity place. To get to the church, you need to come down from the castle bridge to the foot of the fortress.
