Castle (Turkish) bridge
Legendary structure, the first mention of which dates from the year 1494 - a Castle Bridge that leads to Kamenetz-Podolsk fortress . It was built to connect the old city with fortifications, but the distinguishing feature is that the bridge does not connect the two banks of the river, and was set on its course. Of course, after many centuries, the bridge was reconstructed, expanded, was slightly modified - and still well preserved to our time. To date, Castle Bridge is listed in the Guinness Book of Records of Ukraine as the oldest bridge of the country. According to some historians, it was built by the Romans in the second century AD. In 2000, the bridge in Kamenetz-Podolsk was listed as the world`s one hundred unique monuments under threat of destruction.
