House Medvedev merchant

At the dawn of the new century, in Kherson was built by one of the most beautiful buildings of the city. The merchant 2nd guild Medvedev built this building. Originally built as a residential house. The architecture of the building merchant tried to express all their power and consistency. Home made   in eclectic style with Baroque elements. The facade looks luxurious. It will take plenty of time to consider the complexity and beauty of stucco. Openwork elements does not overload the design of the building, but on the contrary, the house looks very airy.

Some time after the revolution the building was in ruins. But after 1957, the building houses the State Archives of Kherson region. One of the most remarkable buildings of Kherson -   City Hospital named Athanasius and Olga Tropin .Ono also has interesting architecture and no less interesting story.
