Museum fauna Shack
In a small town in Volyn Shack go to visit the famous Shatsky Lakes . But during his stay in this place to see and other interesting sights. One of them - a museum of fauna Shatsky Forest College, who created in 1978 honored forester B. Sulko and now institution bears his name.
Here you can see more than 400 exhibits of animals and birds that live on the territory of Ukraine or occur during migration. Presented and 34 species that are listed in the Red Book.
Most of the artifacts produced by teachers and students of the college.
Insignificant part was purchased in the Bialowieza Forest (Belarus): bison, elk, deer, wild boar. It bison became the first museum exhibit.
Visitors love to look at the wild boar - boar, the ancestors of the domestic pig. Presented in the museum and predators: the wolf and the raccoon dog. Among the birds by their size and power of the eagle stands. Its wingspan - as much as two meters!
The museum is open daily, except Saturdays and Sundays.
