Church of St. Metrophanes

In Bolgrad Odessa region is a temple of the Holy Mitrofan. However, the locals call this church to as "pantheon Inzov" or "tomb Inzov." Here are buried the remains of General Ivan Nikitich Inzov. He was a trustee of the Bulgarian settlers and fought for the rights of their equation with German colonists. General died in 1845 in Odessa , just one year after the completion of the church. His ashes locals brought to the temple on foot.
The temple was erected in the cemetery in the 40s of the 19th century in the classical style of limestone, most available at the time of the material. Church designed as a rotunda and columns decorated in Tuscan style, located on the west side. Evenly around the perimeter of the temple, distributed windows, and above them - square niches. Separation walls and dome of the drum is a cornice. Building is crowned with a dome lunettes. Climb to the temple can the stone steps.
