Sculpture Lariosik from Zhitomir
Ukraine is famous for its picturesque and beautiful city. One of these is the regional center - Zhitomir. The terrain on which the village, inhabited by humans since ancient times. Near the town were discovered cemeteries and burial, which belong to the Bronze Age, and in the precincts of Zhytomyr Old Russian archaeologists found the remains of a settlement of 10-13 centuries. The history of sculpture Lariosik
In 2007, the city was a monument to the famous character from the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov`s "White Guard" Lariosik. According to the novel Hilarion Illarionovich Surzhansky (Lariosik) was from Zhitomir, and from here came to his relatives Kiev turbines. It is known that most of the prototypes heroes of Mikhail Bulgakov were taken from life. So the character immortalized by a relative of the family of the writer - Nikolai Sudzilovskaya. The monument was installed in the city center, on the streets of Kiev. It is believed that if taken for the envelope that holds in his hand a bronze Lariosik, and thus make a wish, it will come true.
