Carmelite monastery and church in Kysylyn represents Converted era of the early 18th century. The church was named in honor of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The history of the church and monastery of Carmelites
Carmelite monastery and church was built in 1720. The two-story building of the monastery on one side bordered by the building of the church.
The interior is kept delightful carved stone arch with the sample end of the 1600s, also plotted here frescoes of biblical themes. After the Second World War, in 1945, in the ancient church it was placed the body of flax processing plant.
The building of the monastery survived a two-story exterior wall of the housing. All the interior was fully replaced during construction of the plant.
The church today
Now the Carmelite monastery and church in quite a state of neglect. The temple consists of the ruins. But despite this, visitors can see the famous sights of dozens of unique frescoes and murals in its original form.
