Dzharylgach National Park

Dzharylgach National Park is located on the same island Skadovsk district. By the protected park area also applies to washing its territory Bay. The park was established in December 2009 by the decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko.

This complex has a great importance to the international level. The park belongs to the routing chains seasonal migrations of flocks of birds that travel from Europe to the Asian continent and vice versa. The park area is about 10 thousand. The Gulf Islands Dzharylgach home to several dozen species of marine fauna, among which there are also quite rare animals. Of these, 4 species of invertebrates and 12 species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.

On the island of the park live artiodactyls, amphibians, mammals inhabitants: deer, mouflon, fallow deer and others. Among the birds found here swan, gulls, ducks, terns, ibis, heron and even a pelican.

Nature park area is very beautiful and diverse. To the present day on the island survived several endangered species of plants and flowers, among which one of the rarest plants in Ukraine - zolotoborodnik. To preserve the natural beauty and richness of the park, a year after its opening, all buffer zone was put under special protection.

Dzharylgach National Park - a fairy tale in reality. Having visited it once, you will want to come back again. A special attraction of the park is during the warmer months. In the summer you can not only enjoy nature, or relax in the shade of the trees, but also happy to swim in the clear bay.
