Book Fair "Green Wave", Odessa, Odesa
International Book Fair "Green Wave" in Odessa will be in early August. This year the fair celebrates 20th anniversary. Space Book Fair will be located outdoors.
Fair-exhibition program will include both old traditions and innovations.
Location: Deribasovskaya Street and City Garden , Odessa.
Date: will be held from 4 to 7 August 2016.
Cost: Free admission.
The program book exhibition
Space Book Fair will be located in the open air, will include at Deribasovskaya Street and City Garden. The territory will be divided into different zones:
- Book Store (Deribasovskaya);
- stage and auditorium in the open (Deribasovskaya);
- site lectures and discussion club "Green wave";
- cinema in the open air (Garden City);
- special exhibition devoted to anniversary dates literary 2016;
- area children`s parties Korneychukovskoho Festival (Garden City).
The program presents the good old tradition and innovation:
- presentations of new books and meetings with their authors;
- Book XIII contest "Odessa on book pages";
- XII contest "Book Art";
- workshops and autograph session of popular authors;
- V charity event "The Book as a gift" (collection of books for orphanages);
- Youth Literary Marathon;
- concert program.
Book Deribasovskaya night - one of the innovations of the past year, which will take place in 2016. On one night the main street becomes a romantic night book market. Spectators wait theatrical program, literary marathons and performances, performances of musicians.
Innovation 2016:
- kinomarafon films about writers;
- discussion club "Green Wave" - a meeting with the intellectuals and managers to discuss current problems;
- network competition small prose "1000 and 1 word." Conclusions;
- Gastronomic poetic evening "Odessa Odessa wine and poetry."
The exhibition is open to visitors on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00. Sunday - from 11:00 to 19:00.
