Savior Transfiguration Cathedral (Dnipropetrovsk)
Transfiguration Cathedral in Dnepropetrovsk is one of the cathedral church of the Diocese of Dnepropetrovsk Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Its construction was completed in 1835.
The most magnificent building of the Classical period in Yekaterynoslav became a place of foundation of and architectural monument of national importance. Rich history reflected in the appearance of the cathedral. Some time within its walls were not conducted the service, and was placed Museum of Religion and Atheism. In 1992, after the transfer of the church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, began work on the restoration of its pristine environment. In 2008, the bell was installed chief evangelist.
