House of Pfalz-Fein ("home of Atlanta")

House Pfalz-Fein is recognized as one of the most beautiful buildings in Odessa . Included in the list of architectural monuments. The house was built in 1899 as a family mansion Pfalz-Fein. It is a rich family, who did much for Ukraine. They founded in the Kherson steppes famous nature reserve "Ascania Nova" . Even after the October Revolution, when they were forced to leave the country, the heirs of the genus were active to return to the country of historical and cultural monuments and promote Ukrainian culture abroad.

The building was built in the Dutch style, and is a wonderful exhibit of Russian Art Nouveau. The house consists of two separate buildings. House known as the "House with the Atlanteans", thanks to the sculpture L. Fishel. Heroes of Greek mythology bent back under the weight of the sky, above which rises a second-floor balcony.

House Pfalz-Fein - a business card of Odessa, one of the main attractions of the city. The building is a candidate for entry in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
