Smorodynsky Descent

Smorodinskii descent - a kind of green garden with old houses and interesting landscape, located in the heart of the big city. In the capital, near the crowded modern new buildings, skyscrapers and wide freeways, it`s hard to find anything like that.

Here you will see the most beautiful landscapes: private buildings from the early 20th century, forest green with legendary caves, 500-year-old oak and rowan unique, and on top of the hill you can see the dome of the church of St. Nicholas. Combines descent, like St. Andrew`s , two of the hilly Kiev - top to bottom.

Smorodinskii descent retained its pristine pavement - stone paving, which is about 100 years old. In those days there lived merchants currant - thanks to them, this area got its current name.

In the middle of the 20th century near the descent was Khrushchev`s cottage, so you can often hear from local residents tripled street name - "Khrushchev road."
