Tatarka Hill

Hills Tatarka - a special place in ancient Kiev, an island of unspoiled nature among thousands of urban or contemporary homes.
Tatar called district of the capital, is one of the seven hills on which is built the big city. Hundreds of years ago there were green hilly forests and gardens, now you can see private houses (the date of the buildings early 20th century) and several landmarks, including Pokrovsky Monastery and Church of St. Makarii .
Surprising is the fact that nowadays Tatarka hills are almost in the center of the capital and thus remain sparsely populated place with deserted streets and wild landscape.
Here is the former summer residence Khrushchev and cobbled road leading to it - Smorodinskii descent .
