Church of St. Anne, Storozhynets

One of the most original buildings Storozhinets is a neo-Gothic church of St. Anne. In the very center of the district remained atmospheric Austrian construction, so there is something to see.

History of the Church of St. Anne

Data on the time of construction of the church differ. Some sources indicate 1794, others - 1853-1857 years. Brilliant that 1794 was the predecessor of modern wooden church, and in the mid-19th century, the church was built. 1880 Church expanded to the community. There is another version, which appeared stone church in the early 20th century, and already in 1905 it holy Catholic bishop Weber.

Temple functioned as intended until 1960 when it closed the Soviets. Catholics get their Church only in 1990. Church of St. Anne is functioning today.
